What it does

Spaced repetitionEach tune comes back when it is due, from the wishlist through learning to repertoire, with the keys you know it in and practice round the circle of fourths.

Transcribe by earSolos play from just before they start, at half or three-quarter speed, with an A-B loop for the phrase you are working out.

Woodshed is for Android 8 and later. Download the APK from the latest release and open it on your phone; Android asks once to allow installs from your browser or file manager. Each release installs over the last, keeping your data. Google Play is coming.

Woodshed is free, with no subscription and nothing to sell. If it helps your practice, you can support its development with a coffee on Ko-fi.

What it does not do

Woodshed has no account, no ads and no analytics. It works offline. It goes online only to play a video you tap and to send a problem report you choose to send, and the report says nothing about you. Read the privacy policy for the details.
